History Will Be Made Today

As we posted yesterday, never has all four #1 seeds made the Final Four well today is the day that it happens. I expected one of the two #1`s yesterday to lose but did not happen and gave us our first 0-2 day in weeks! Today not only do I look for both Favs to SU win I also have them both covering the number and moving on the FINAL FOUR.

Daivdson vs KANSAS -9
It was cute for Davidson to make it this far but the show is over for them today. The Jayhawks bench will be the main factor today as Kansas will be to much for the Wildcats and will cover the number. Coach Bill Self wants a shot at former Kansas coach Roy Williams who they will meet after the 15 point win today!

Texas vs MEMPHIS -3
Memphis will show today why they desreve to be in the Final Four as Derick Rose was the missing piece of the puzzle that had the Tigers going home early the last fews year in the Tourney. Although this is a home game for the Long Horns, the Tigers also cover the number

We have been on the Bruins all tourney and also been on the Musketeers. After a big come from behind win against Georgia the Musketeers are really good teams with 5-players avg. 20pts per game in regular season this could be first upset of the night.

LOUISVILLE +7 vs UNC
Rick Ptno has his team playing extremly good ball now. Yes so are the Heels but the Heels have been untested to this point. The Cardinals fans travel well and will also be alot of red in the crowd. This could be the tale end to a great parlay

Stephan Curry will continue leading his team and also leading the tournament 30+ points per game against a stingy Badger team who led the nation in scoring defense (54.3 ppg) Not enough scoring for the Badgers tonight so I look for Curry and the boys to cover in their home town.

After going 3-0 last night with gifts, I see the the same resemblance in some of today match ups.
We also cannot forget about the NIT which also has games and the NBA has games on also. So lets look at all of today's Match Up

Georgia vs XAVIER -9
Ok Bulldogs I don't want to take anything away from the great run to win the SEC. Yes they were a hot team coming in but with the 4-day layoff and the Musketeers coming off the best record in school history. The 39 year old head coach Sean Miller, has 5-players avg. over 10 pts a game. It was cute Georgia but sorry its over today.

Portland State vs Kansas -23
Portland State will need more than Jerry Glanville to coach the Football team. They need to whole football team to stop Kansas. Jayhawks to Big to Strong on inside.

Temple vs Michigan State -7
Temple `s upset over Xavier in Confernce tourney shoot there wad. Tom Izzo will have his team playing will atleast make it 2nd round where they have not been past since 2005.

Marquette vs KENTUCKY +6
Kentucky is ready for this season to be over with! Without Patrick Patterson the Wildcats will make it hard on themselves to make it out of the 1st round but with the game being in played ion California no advantage for either team. This game should be a pk but with money coming in on Marquette, will take +6.

Baylor lost in OT to Colorado in Big 12 first round. Purdue plays great d-fense and keeps their games close but the 5-guards will keep the play out around the 3-pt line. Baylor is also 8-1 last 9 games at neutral sites

Lon Krueger will have the his Running Rebels ready to go against the Golden Flashes. UNLV is a scrappy team that plays good defense but Kent State has been on a good streak coming in and does have Big Bodies down low. Kent State 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall

Bobby Knight picked PITT to win it all but without Mike Cook it will be tuff.

Cornells 10 game win streak may not help pull the upset but theses players are very smart and will keep this game closer than the number. The twin towers at Stanford will be tuff to allow a ML upset.
