Boise State also ranks seventh in the nation in scoring defense, allowing an average of 11.2 points. The Broncos have given up seven points or fewer in four of their five games.

With the Noles coming off a buy week after betting Miami, and with Bowden`s son getting fired from Clemson this week the last thing on FSU`s mind is playing the Wolfpack. Thursday night games have not always been kind to Florida State. Since 1995, FSU has played eight Thursday night games. Five of those came down to the final minutes and four of those were losses. Last time FSU played NC State on the road in a Thursday night game, Daniel Evans led the Wolfpack from behind with two touchdowns in the second half to upset Florida State, 24-20.
