As we come into week two of the College Football Season, we keep in mind the fact that we only play the games on TV. Which sets up for another great Saturday for college football. With "HANNA" still in the North East, I look for ALOT of Unders to hit and give the majority of the Dogs a chance to make up the speed factor, has most of the places that got hit last night with the storm took on about 4-inches of rain.
12:00 UCONN vs TEMPLE +7
Temple Head Coach Al Golden, who is in his 3rd season and started 22 True Freshmen last year led the Owls to a 4-8 record. Golden was former D-Coordinator at UVA and left because who new that AL GROH MUST GO and moved on to Philly to take on Temple. Last year, the Huskies won a last second blown call. The Revenge and the Storm will keep Huskies QB Tyler Lorenzen grounded and keep the Owls in the game.

12:00 Georgia Tech +7 vs Boston College
Paul Johnson takes his option up against the Eagles. Rain in the area will help the option and the running attack that has lead the nation the last couple of years while at Navy. Boston College is on the down as the loss of a First Round QB Matt Ryan to the city that Georgia Tech is in , ATLANTA? Call it a coincidence, but I dont see Boston College being able to stop the option. Georgia Tech could win this game SU but we will definitely take the points and go with the Dog.
3:30 Ole Miss +7 vs Wake Forest
YES I know I was all over Wake Forest last week but that was against Baylor. Houston Nutt has a really good QB in Jevan Snead who transferred from Texas as the Mack Brown Longhorns took Colt McCoy. Not to say that was a bad pick for the Longhorns, but it is saying that Snead can play. Houston Nutt has a middle of the pack SEC team which is better than the Best team in the ACC which could be Wake Forest this season. We go with the Dog here to cover the number.

4:30 WVU vs ECU +7
I love this game as we took the Pirates last week and Skip Holtz has Greenville, NC and the Pirate Nation believing as they beat Virgina Teach last week. The Mountaineers has arguably the best player in football in Pat White. Holtz will run a slow methodical game and keep Pat White off the field. East Carolina will be up for this game and Senior Patrick Pickney will pick the WVU DB`s apart as they lost everyone but 4-starters from last year.
The Pirates are now 17-4 ATS as an underdog of 3 points or more under coach Skip Holtz.
7:00 Northwestern -6 vs Duke
This line is one of the only Favs I like today. Duke is coming off a Big win last week and did put a bunch of points, however, that 31 point game was against James Madison. Northwestern also had a blow out win against Syracuse last week. CJ Bacher had 3TD passes and Tyrell Sutton avg. 6.9 yards per rush. I see the Wildcats out playing the Blue Devils as the Home field advantage will not be a factor as the weather and the fact that the support for David Cutcliffe is just not there yet. We take the Wildcats tonight.

8:00 Miami +23 vs Florida
A great way to finish off the night with a great in state rivalry. The Canes are very young and the Gators are very experienced. Tim Tebow will score his touchdowns and the Gators put up the points, however the Young Canes team can keep the ball on the ground and pound the run with the best 2-running backs in the country in Greg Cooper and Javeris James. The number is to high as this game also is a recruiting battle for the State.
Canes hang around to cover the number.

PHATLINE GEORGIA TECH +6.5
PHATLINE OLE MISS +7.5
PHATLINE EAST CAROLINA +7.5
